Robert D. Lavoie, PE
Mr. Robert Lavoie serves as a Consultant of Council on municipal engineering and land development projects. Rob joined NFE in 1991 and ultimately became President before retiring in 2015. His career expands over 40 years of providing exemplary civil engineering services with a focus on public water main, sanitary sewer, storm drain and highway improvement projects. While at NFE, Rob provided consulting engineering services to several communities, including the City of Pontiac, the City of Hazel Park and the Village of Oxford. He also oversaw a variety of residential, commercial and industrial developments. Prior to NFE, Rob worked for the City of Pontiac for 15 years. His positions included Public Works Director, City Engineer and Highway Maintenance Superintendent. There Glen was responsible for the design and construction of many transportation and public works improvement projects.
Rob holds a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University, and he is a Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan.
